This is another assignment we got at uni recently for a 3D modelling module.
These were created in a free piece of software called POV-Ray.
What an awesome game!
I finally managed to complete it on insane difficulty last night after many hours of getting killed by damn blood mounts all the time!
I found it a hell of a lot harder than the first one on insane but I guess they had to make it more difficult or people would start complaining.
Just need to get the coop achievement now… I’m not an achievement whore, honest…
Anyway, bring on Gears of War 3!
Just thought I’d post a few images of an assignment I had to do for uni. The task was to model a stegosaurus in Maya 2008 (a 3D modelling application for anyone who doesn’t know).
It’s my first proper model so it’s far from brilliant. I’m fairly happy with how parts of it turned out though.
This is a trance mix I did back in 2006 when I first started trying out harmonic mixing.

Just a quick post about this awesome bit of software I just found. I was looking for something to add multiple desktop support to Vista and saw quite a few people recommending Dexpot online.
Installed it about half an hour ago and had a quick play. It’s brilliant! Does exactly what I wanted and a lot more.
There’s a couple of features included which I wasn’t expecting but have been wanting on Windows for quite a while, mainly the ability to minimize any application to the system tray and the Exposé feature on the Mac. They have called it “Window Catalogue” in Dexpot.
Overall, excellent application. It’s also free for private use which is always nice for a student 🙂
Thought I’d finally get round to setting up a blog. I’ll mainly just be posting things I find interesting online relating to anything and everything really, but I’d guess the majority of posts will be about music, photography, computers etc.
Probably won’t get a massive amount of time to post at the moment with the workload at uni, but I’ll try and keep it reasonably frequent.
Speak to you all soon!
